This former C19th Dudley schoolhouse has been converted into a comfortable hotel with a friendly club atmosphere. Our hotel is located on the Shropshire border, on the edge of Dudley which ensures our hotel is perfect for your stay. In Victorian times, many Himley villagers worked for the Earl of Dudley, and their children were educated in the high beamed room school house which is now a part of the Himley Country Hotel. The old school room has now been extended with a popular conservatory restaurant. The hotel is located on the edge of the countryside and is well known for its peaceful location and quiet bedrooms. Nearby is Himley Hall with gardens landscaped by Capability Brown. An ideal location from which to delve into our industrial past in the Black Country or to explore the beauty of the Welsh Borders. Please note that the hotel has no lift. We provide double beds to all business clients.
The hotel is located just off the A449, Wolverhampton to Stourbridge road. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in the bar, lounge and conference rooms. Its quiet location facing the countryside makes it a popular location to stay for business and leisure guests alike. A comfortable bar and schoolroom restaurant with conservatory offer flexible food throughout the day. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, including the bedrooms.

The Station Hotel offers a warm friendly atmosphere. Set in the heart of the Midlands, the Hotel is easily accessible from Junction 2 of the M5 which is only five minutes drive away. The Station Hotel is the ideal venue for a weekend in the Historic Black Country. The Black Country Museum is a couple of minutes drive away, and Dudley Zoo is situated directly opposite. The lively Merry Hill Centre is also located close by, offering some of the best shopping facilities in Europe. Stourbridge, the centre of glass making in the uk is only 6 miles away, and of course the sights and sounds of Birmingham are within easy reach. Originally built in 1910, the Station was demolished in 1936 in order to build a larger Hotel.
