The Barns Hotel is situated in a beautiful riverside location, within 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens, yet just 10 miles from the M1 and 8 miles from A1. Samuel Whitbread, founder of the brewing business, was born in the main house in 1720 and it remained within the Whitbread family until 1890s, becoming a hotel in 1987.
Please be advised that the hotel restaurant will be closed for dinner service on the following dates. A limited bar menu will be available in the hotel. However, please be aware that on these dates, the hotel will be hosting a disco, therefore the hotel may be noisy and public areas may be busy.
